In order for us to maintain customer focus and ensure internal control of its processes, we have made a strategic decision to pursue and maintain a High-Quality System.

Management has adopted a process approach to this System. There is an emphasis on continuous improvement, directed at enhancing the satisfaction of its customers by constant review and understanding of their requirements and a desire to meet those requirements.

Quality means a commitment. It's a commitment to meeting a standard procedure that includes doing whatever it takes to make sure a job gets completed and delivered on time and to the customer's satisfaction. And it's a commitment to communicating to our customers and our employees that our future is in doing high quality work.

Zero defects at Douglass Precision means doing the job right, from start to finish. We work with our customers to establish a standard, to create the patterns, establish process sheets and to train the employees. We focus not only on product quality, but on the quality process which means recognizing that on-time delivery is a quality issue for our customers, too.
